Magnet Maze Privacy Policy

Privacy Policy

Magnet Maze is a self-contained puzzle game. This page explains, in plain language, what does and doesn't happen with your data.

Last updated: January 2026

No account, no login

You can open the app and play immediately. Nothing to sign up for, nothing to sign in to.

Saved on your device only

Progress and scores live in local storage on your phone โ€” never on a server we run.

Ads via Google AdMob

A banner and an optional rewarded ad are shown through AdMob, which may collect an ad identifier.

1Overview

Magnet Maze is designed to work fully offline. There is no user account system, no sign-in, and no server that stores your gameplay. The app itself does not ask for your name, email address, or any personal profile information at any point.

No login required No personal data requested Works offline

2What we don't collect

The app itself โ€” separate from the third-party ad SDK described below โ€” does not collect:

3Local storage: scores & progress

Everything the app needs to remember about your play โ€” level progress, stars earned, best scores, streaks, and your app settings โ€” is written to local storage on your own device. This data:

Because nothing is uploaded, there's no backup on our end if local storage is cleared โ€” but equally, there's nothing for anyone else to see or lose.

4Advertising (Google AdMob)

This app shows ads โ€” a banner and an optional rewarded ad you can choose to watch for an extra chance in a puzzle โ€” using Google AdMob. To select and measure ads, AdMob's own SDK may collect information such as an advertising identifier, device information, and general (non-precise) location. This collection is done by Google, under Google's own privacy policy, not by us directly.

What Who Why
Advertising ID / device info Google AdMob Choosing and measuring ads shown
Approximate, non-precise location Google AdMob General ad relevance
Rewarded ad completion Google AdMob Granting the in-app continue reward

Watching the rewarded ad is always optional โ€” it is only ever offered as a way to continue a puzzle attempt, and is never required to play the game.

You can review or reset your advertising identifier, and adjust ad personalization, in your device's system settings. For more detail on how Google's advertising products handle data, see Google's own Privacy & Terms.

5Permissions

The app requests only what it needs to show ads and, if you enable them in Settings, local notifications for daily-challenge reminders. It does not request access to your contacts, photos, camera, microphone, or precise location.

6Children's privacy

The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since the app itself collects no personal data โ€” everything is either anonymous local storage or handled by the AdMob SDK under Google's policies โ€” gameplay on-device is effectively anonymous.

7Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will change with it. Continuing to use the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
